ABOUT WILL GRAFTON-HOWE
I'm Will Grafton-Howe, an aspiring young Sound Designer who recently graduated from the Massey University Wellington Bachelor Screen Arts course. Born and raised in New Zealand's 'Big Apple,' also known as Auckland, I moved to Wellington to pursue my passion for filmmaking.
Learning, adapting, and problem-solving in this medium have been both enjoyable and rewarding, and I hope to continue developing my skills. From shooting goofy skits at 12 to making music in a band, working as a front-of-house engineer in high school, and eventually designing and mixing my first 5.1 surround sound film, my journey has been driven by a deep passion for sound and storytelling.
I am becoming a multi-skilled creative with proficiency in various fields of Audio Production such as Foley Recording, ADR recording and mixing. This includes competency with Protools, Ableton, Davinci, the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, VFX Software (Houdini, Maya and Blender).
